Who we are

OVERSEED is a game made by an independent developer ("we", "us"). This policy covers the game and this website, overseedgame.com. You can reach us at support at overseedgame dot com.

What the game keeps on your device

Your farms and your settings are saved on your iPhone or iPad. They are never sent to us. If your device is backed up to iCloud or a computer, iOS includes the game's saves in that backup, as it does for other apps; we can't see those backups. Deleting the game deletes its saves.

What the game doesn't do

The game has no accounts and no ads, and it doesn't track you across other apps or websites. It doesn't use your location, camera, microphone, contacts or photos, and it doesn't need an internet connection to play.

The Unity engine

OVERSEED is made with the Unity game engine. The engine can send Unity Technologies anonymous technical details about the device the game runs on, such as its model, operating system version and graphics hardware, which Unity uses to improve the engine. These details don't include your name, your location or anything about how you play, and we don't receive them. Unity explains how it handles them in its privacy policy.

Apple and the App Store

You get OVERSEED from Apple's App Store, and Apple handles your download and any payment under its own privacy policy. If you have turned on Share With App Developers in your device's settings (Privacy & Security, then Analytics & Improvements), Apple shares crash reports and statistics about how the app is used with us. They don't identify you, and we use them only to fix problems and make the game run better.

If you contact us

When you email us, we get your email address and whatever you write or attach. We use it only to answer you, and we delete it when it's no longer needed, or sooner if you ask.

This website

overseedgame.com doesn't use cookies, analytics or trackers, and it loads nothing from other websites. Our web host, Hostinger, keeps standard server logs, such as IP addresses, browser types and the pages requested, for a limited time to keep the site secure and running.

Children

The game collects no personal data from anyone, children included.

Your rights

You can ask us what personal data we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it. In practice the only personal data we could hold is an email you sent us. Write to support at overseedgame dot com. If you live in the EU or the UK, you can also complain to your local data protection authority.

If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
